The core mythos is about the company, FAILTECH, itself. FAILTECH was established in 1990 by Fredrick Donstand, Daniel Miller, and Genus Orein. However, they have already previously banded together and formed the Advanced Science Research Group (ASRG) in 1982. Daniel Miller has stated that Fredrick Donstand and him hired Genus Orein fresh from post-secondary studies to work for them under ASRG. It implies that Daniel Miller and Fredrick Donstand are older than Genus Orein. Based on the given dates, it is presumed Genus Orein is in his 20s during the ASRG period. It is safe to assume that Genus Orein is still in his 20s when ASRG was re-established FAILTECH in 1990. Daniel Miller stated that Fredrick Donstand then got married after FAILTECH is established, whom are now probably in their 30s.
According to Genus Orein, he learns that the establishment of FAILTECH is non-coincidental but rather programmed into his, and the founders' DNA. He explains that FAILTECH's core objective is to speedily generate and discover technology to protect humankind from the Afyg. It is still unclear where in the human history has the Afyg been manipulating human history in either a positive way (by the seperatist group that Genus Orein was able to make friends with) or in a negative way (by the core Afyg group that has bound themselves for revenge against humans)
Currently, we are tackling another mysterious group called Nox Ordo. According to Skyfall, the Nox Ordo is a part of the Oriru Serku whom assisted in the combat against the Afyg. According to Skyfall, it appears that due to how far in the past the original Nox Ordo has been sent back in time, the Nox Ordo has lost their true purpose and forgotten what their real objective is.
According to Genus Orein, the Afyg are humans from the future whom has been isolated from the rest of humanity due to their misbehaviour. Their planet has been locked out pushing the Afygs to live on their own independently and completely isolated from the rest of humanity. Because of this, they have grown to hate humanity and has set themselves to take their revenge to those whom imprissoned them in their own planet. In their attempt to break the lockout of their planet, they accidentally sent themselves back in time to a state where humanity was still about the rise to power. No definite date or era has been stated, but it is known to predate FAILTECH itself. Because of this, the Afyg decided to eliminate humans at this point in time to take their revenge on the younger human race.
The accidental time travel has also accidentally brought a nearby planet back in time along with the Afyg. However, this group of humans from the future has chosen to be of a neutral side regarding what the Afyg is doing.
In the end of the battle against the Afyg, Oriru Serku has assisted because their best interest is in danger and that they are in pursuit of a dangerous criminal that has been assisting the Afyg all along.
The Oriru Serku is an organization from the far future, and possibly much more farther in the future than the Afyg, that is composed of various civilizations across the universe (humans included).
The Oriru Serku created the Jhuku which is their so-called savior for an impending apocalypse that is still ahead of the Oriru Serku itself. They have stated that the apocalypse will wipe out the universe, or something of such extent. The Jhuku is a carrier of information that crosses a "cycle" of rfesets of the universe.
It has been hined across the game that we are on the seventh cycle. It has also been stated that during the second cycle, a problem has been encountered but it has never been specified or what its effects are against the subsequent cycles. Each cycle reset requires the Jhuku to be at a particular location as only he has the capability to remember the past and carry knowledge for the next cycle.
A lot is still unanswered regarding the Oriru Serku, the Jhuku, and the far future apocalypse.
Additionally, one could ask if what happened to the Jhuku after the battle against the Afyg. Genus Orein has stated he will be sent to his final location of stay (at the edge of the universe) but if so, they it seems to be too early for a reset especially at this point in time, the Oriru Serku has not, yet, been formed, at least the humans are not yet a member of.
Everything in the past intertwined, how could have the Nox Ordo and Afyg influenced the creation and development of FAILTECH?
Also, what happened to the stolen ship? To the stolen biohazard from Cliffside?
